The Second Leg of the Bahamas Wahoo Championship provided one of the closest finishes in Championship history. Fished under near perfect weather conditions, Venture Out won the competition with 186.5 points edging out Chasin Tail by a mere 1.5 points.
Venture Out, a 39' Venture, is owned and captained by William Pope Langdale III who hails from Valdosta, Georgia. They fished consistently during the three days of the tournament and their nice 52.5 pound wahoo helped them to victory on the last day. Chasin Tail, a 36' Yellowfin, owned and captained by David Glidewell caught the heaviest wahoo of the tournament, a magnificent 86 pound wahoo.
