Blog from the weigh-in

Not much to report on the first day, It was howling, and a truce was called.

Day two was sweet. The weather was nice and the wahoo were biting.

'Svengali' a brand new "out of the box' 49' Spencer caught 435lb of wahoo. Only the two largest can weigh and a 102lb fish took top honors, followed by a very respectable 64lb fish. Maybe having Paul Spencer, the boats builder on board prompted Marshall to show off a little.....

The crew of the 'Last Blast' had a nice day with a 49lb and a bunch of fish all around the 33-34 lb mark.

'Troublemaker' and 'Jade Sky' both weighed fish and are saving their best for tomorrow.

Day Three.

Another great day of fishing. 'Troublemaker' weighed a nice pair of 42.5 and 'Jade Sky' had a 47.5 and a 24.

'Last Blast' had a 31.5 and a 39.5 which left them short by a half a pound to equal 'Troublemaker'.

'Svengali' left us in no doubt. They were on fire with an 85 pounder and followed up with a 52. Their 5 fish haul totaled a massive 341 pounds. Congratulations.
